Shu takes your existing AIR application and extends its power with a number of extra system commands. Using Shu gives you the power of controlling external applications; opening external files; database connectivity and control; system path retrieval, screen capture functionality and more — all from within your AIR application.

What is Shu SA?
Shu StandAlone gives you all the Shu commands, but without the need for installation — Shu SA gives you the ability to package your AIR file and the AIR runtime into standalone executables for Mac, Windows or both!
Shu SA Lite
What is Shu SA Lite?
Shu StandAlone Lite is everything Shu SA is but without the extra commands — therefore if you have no requirement other than to make your AIR based application standalone, Shu SA Lite is for you.
If at some point later in time you need functionality offered in the full version of Shu SA, you can simply upgrade.
